Kimberly E. Winter is a partner in the law firm of White, Freeman & Winter, LLP where she concentrates her practice on medical liability litigation and professional licensure. She graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and was prior valedictorian in nursing at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago.
Attorney Winter is active in numerous bar associations. She is immediate past Chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association Health Law Section, a member of the Executive Management Board for the Massachusetts Bar Association, co-Chair of the Women’s Bar Association Employment Issue Committee and co-Chair of the State Legislative and Medical Negligence Committee of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys Board of Governors and member of the American Association for Justice. She is a frequent speaker and writer on medical and legal issues. Attorney Winter is also a Registered Nurse with a specialty certification in intensive care.
In 2005 and 2006 Attorney Winter was named a “Super Lawyer” by Boston Magazine Law & Politics in the field of plaintiff’s medical malpractice.
